I have a wonderful group of girlfriends from college. There are 5 of us, and we keep in touch by emailing each other ...a lot! Usually there are several emails a day, and on some days there can be 15 or 20 or 30! We don't all live close to each other, and we haven't all stayed in one place. When we first started our email loop, some of us were single and some had boyfriends. Now we are all married or engaged, 2/5 are pregnant, all of us have different jobs, all of us have moved at least once, and all of us have had ups and downs. We've really gone through a lot together, even though some of us are far apart. Lately I've been trying to figure out a way to archive all of our emails - and therefore all the things that have happened to us in the past 1/2 decade. It is overwhelming! In the last year alone, I have 158 email chains from the group, and all of those have multiple (usually dozens of) emails. Holy moly this is going to be a big job... but worth it. =]
Here are a few good quotes from emails I have archived so far:
Thanks just resigned today. Felt so good.

And this last one, I feel, is good advice all the time:
There is zero parking at my place, so you will need to park at the Safeway right next door. In that parking lot, park as close to Dairy Queen as possible.
